Dental Treatments We Offer

Dental Implants

Master Dental Care offers advanced specialized knowledge about the science and clinical applications of dental implantology. We assure our patients the highest level of surgical and prosthetic expertise and state-of-the-art procedures, resulting in successful integration of your new dental implants and a highly esthetic result. There are several benefits to choosing dental implants such as improved biting and chewing capabilities, esthetic enhancement, as well as ease in cleaning and maintaining. A thorough preliminary dental and radiographic examination from a trained implant specialist is paramount to a successful experience with your implants.

Smile Makeover

Today, advances in esthetic dentistry allow everyone to benefit from a smile makeover, by altering their smile characteristics to produce dramatic results with positive influences on their lives. A smile makeover is the improvement of the smile appearance with the use of dental treatments such as: tooth bleaching, veneers, crowns, implants, periodontal plastic surgery. A smile makeover may be performed for several reasons and is always customized according to your own unique needs and considerations.

Full Mouth Rehabilitation

Full mouth rehabilitation is the restoration and/or the replacement of all teeth in a patient’s mouth. This type of treatment is needed for patients with multiple or extended dental problems such as several missing teeth, several cracked or broken teeth, several teeth with decay or large restorations that need to be replaced, or with severely worn teeth due to bruxism (teeth grinding) or other parafunctional habits.

Gums & Teeth Cleaning

We have a strong focus on prevention and improving the health of your gums and teeth. Once your mouth is healthy, we are able to incorporate a great array of esthetic treatments. Scheduling and attending regular cleanings is important for your dental health for two reasons: because your dentist or dental hygienist has been professionally trained to clean and take care of your teeth in a way that you cannot do on your own, and also because these exams give your dentist a chance to examine and evaluate your dental health in a proactive way that will help prevent any serious problems. During the regular cleanings, you can expect your dentist performs the following tasks…

Dental Bleaching

Over time, your teeth can go from white to not-so-bright for a number of reasons: Food and Drink: Coffee, tea and red wine are some major staining culprits. What do they have in common? Intense color pigments called chromogens that attach to the white, outer part of your tooth (enamel). Tobacco Use: Two chemicals found in tobacco create stubborn stains: Tar and nicotine. Tar is naturally dark. Nicotine is colorless until it’s mixed with oxygen. Then, it turns into a yellowish, surface-staining substance.

Direct restorations/Fillings

A filling or direct restoration is used to repair a tooth that is affected by decay, cracks or fractures. In just one appointment, the decayed or otherwise affected portion of the tooth will be removed, and the remaining space will be cleaned and filled. Composite fillings are tooth-colored and can be precisely matched to the color of existing teeth and appropriately placed to restore the morphology of the missing tissues, thus creating an invisible restoration.

Indirect posterior restorations/Onlays

In case of more extended tooth substance loss a direct filling is no longer the best choice. An extraorally fabricated restoration is preferable. These restorations are called onlays. They are fabricated from either composite resin or porcelain, depending on the particular situation. They are bonded to the remaining tooth with resin composite (white filling material).

Laminate veneers

Veneers are thin, translucent shells of porcelain that are bonded on the front side of the teeth, giving them a new, more attractive appearance. They are 0.3-1.0mm thick and are custom-made in a dental laboratory. The main purpose for placing veneers is to improve the appearance of teeth. They are used in cases of teeth that are worn, chipped, malformed or misaligned, have unwanted or uneven spaces between them or have severe discolorations that do not respond to bleaching.

Dental Crowns

A crown is a covering that encases the entire tooth surface, restoring it to its original shape and size. A crown protects and strengthens tooth structure that cannot be restored with fillings or other types of restorations. Crowns restore functionality to teeth and they can also provide optimal esthetic results for your smile. A crown may become necessary or desired for one or more of the following reasons…

Bridges

The typical bridge consists of two crowns that are placed on two anchoring teeth (abutment teeth). The crowns support the artificial teeth that fill the gap created by one or more missing teeth. A bridge is a fixed restoration and can be a solution to many esthetic and functional problems that can occur in your mouth when one or multiple teeth are missing…

Management of Bruxism (Teeth Grinding)

Many people in our days grind or clench their teeth during the night or even during the day some times. Scientificantly this is called bruxism and it causes abrasion of the teeth and very often results in non-esthetic appearance, sensitivity, pain in the jaw close to the ears (Temporomandibular Joints -TMJ) and headaches…

Dentures

Dentures are used as a replacement for missing natural teeth. Complete dentures are used in cases where all teeth are missing. Removable partial dentures are used when some – but not all- teeth are missing and use the remaining teeth as an anchorage…
